Florida legalized hemp and hemp-derived CBD in 2019 through SB 1020, consistent with the federal 2018 Farm Bill. Hemp-derived CBD products with ≤0.3% THC are legal for sale, purchase, and possession. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services regulates hemp cultivation and retail CBD products.
