Current Status

Maine has a well-established hemp program and permits the sale and possession of hemp-derived CBD products with ≤0.3% THC in alignment with the 2018 Farm Bill. The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry administers hemp licensing and oversight. CBD products are widely available throughout the state.
